I was born in India.

I grew up in England, Florida, and (mainly in) Massachusetts.

In high school I played the tuba.

I’ve been living in New York since 2004, when I came here

for college, where I studied music business. That’s  also when I first started making beats, writing, and performing songs.

I released an album in January, 2010. The day we released it, I went to Cambodia. I stayed there for 5 months, doing all sorts of neat stuff. A highlight of the trip was performing with feleciacruz (as SvsF) in front of thousands at the Nokia Hip Hop Festival in Phnom Penh and Siem Riep.

I’ve had the privilege of working with some of my favorite underground artists, including Jesse Abraham, Warren Britt, YC the Cynic, Cavalier, Albert Rhymestein, Dyalekt, Otis Clapp, Top $ Raz, Pete.Colon, Premonition, Miz Metro, Adrienne Mack-Davis, and Jeannette Berry.

I enjoy a variety of music. At the moment, I’m really feeling Madlib, Brahms, Wu-Tang, John Coltrane, Homeboy Sandman, Pharell, Major Lazer, Mos Def, Gogol Bordello, Tom Waits, Slaughterhouse, Ski Beatz, Rage Against the Machine, The Black Keys, Sublime and Timbaland.
